Crankcase Assembly

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Lubricate the moving parts in the crankcase with fresh engine oil.

Thoroughly clean the crankcase mating surfaces.

Install the dowel pins into the left crank case.

Install the left side engine components. See the Left Side Engine Components for more information.

Install the right side engine components. See the Right Side Engine Components topic for more information.

Install the Clutch. See the Clutch for more information.

Install the cylinder and piston. See the Cylinder and Piston topic.

Install the cylinder head. See the Cylinder Head Installation topic for more information.

Install the Camshaft. See the Camshaft topic for more information.

Return the engine to the frame. See the Engine Installation topic for more information.

Install the engine sprocket. See the Engine Sprocket topic for more information.
